Privacy Statement

1. Collection and Use of Personal Data from Customers, Suppliers, and Other Contractors
We would like to inform you that any personal data you provide to us will be collected and used because it is necessary for concluding and executing any potential agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.

If you are a (potential) customer, we use your data to send you a quotation, determine the specifications or requirements that a particular product or service must meet, deliver goods or perform services for you, issue invoices, and communicate efficiently with you regarding the execution of the agreement.

If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data is also necessary for concluding and executing the agreement. In procurement, this is required to inform you of the specifications or requirements that a product or service must meet, to send you a request for quotation or place an order, pay your invoices, and communicate efficiently with you about other aspects of the agreement.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide or provide insufficient personal data, it may not be possible for us to carry out the activities mentioned above.

2. Disclosure to Third Parties
In connection with executing a potential agreement with you, it may be necessary for us to provide your personal data to parties that supply components, materials, and products to us or perform services on our behalf. Furthermore, we use external server storage for parts of our sales and procurement administration, which includes your personal data. Your data is therefore shared with our server provider. We also use Microsoft Office and its storage capabilities for emails and other files. Additionally, since we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data is also shared with the provider of that service.

Direct Marketing
If you have given us permission, we will store and use your personal data to keep you personally informed via email about our existing and new products and services, and to possibly make you an offer. Each time we send a promotional email, you will have the opportunity to opt out. Please use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.

3. Retention Period of Personal Data
If you requested a quotation from us but did not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact. Likewise, if we received a quotation from you but did not become your customer, your personal data will be deleted no later than one year after our last contact. If you did become a customer, or we became your customer, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the fiscal year in which the agreement was fully executed. The seven-year period corresponds to the period during which we are required to retain our administration for the Dutch Tax Authorities. After this period, your personal data will be deleted.

4. Your Rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data. If necessary, you may also request corrections or additions to your data. In addition, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data or to restrict its use. You can also object to the collection and use of your data or file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Finally, you may request a copy of your personal data or the transfer of that data to another party.
